Renewable Energy Development

Arlington Energies has a robust portfolio of renewable energy projects designed to maximize environmental benefits:

  • Wind Energy: The Jantus-Aeolus Wind Farms in Brazil exemplify large- scale renewable development, with 220 MW capacity supported by Suzlon Turbines and a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Electrobras.
  • Biomass Power Generation: Arlington has implemented sustainable thermoelectric plants, such as the 30 MW biomass plant fueled by elephant grass in BEN, Brazil, and the 10 MW woodchip plant in Piratini.
  • Solar and Hydro Integration: Current initiatives include exploring hybrid ystems that combine solar, wind, and hydropower for year-round energy generation.
